Pilates is an exercises system that seeks to engage the mind and strengthen and balance the body. It was developed by Joseph Pilates at the beginning of the 20th century and is renowned for conditioning the body from head to toe. The Pilates repertoire emphasises uniform muscle development so that joints experience vital balance allowing all of your daily movement to become more mindful, fluid and filled with ease. Done properly, the Pilates method lengthens and strengthens you from the inside out.

The class consists of a devotion, Pilates and stretch warm up, a flow sequence based on a chosen psalm ,and then a time of stillness, rest and reflection. This class will be practiced by atmospheric candlelight and there will be 30 minutes social time for a catch up and a brew after the class. Visit psalmsandstretches.com for more information.

Thank you so much, that was awesome, I knew it was going to be fab, but I didn't know what to expect. It exceeded my expectations. This is so powerful Claire, it is so key to Well-being,

Love the class, no pressure to do something you can't, chance to rest and relax and hear God's word and enjoy fellowship with others

Claire's classes have benefited me on many levels. My flexibility and strength has improved, and the curvature in my neck and back has decreased. Claire alters the exercises to suit the different levels of ability in the class and creates an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. The sessions have made me set time aside time just for me in the hustle and bustle of my week. I would encourage anybody to give her classes a try.
